Food: Incredible. View: Spectacular. Ambiance: Awesome and laid back. Service: Superb. Seriously, Crabby Bill's is fantastic. Every single time we go here, we leave fat and happy. And every single time, we marvel at how great everything is. Definitely check this place out. You will not be disappointed.
This was convenient (for us) to reunite with friends visiting the theme parks area. The drive is fine for them with kids and for us with friends who stayed with us it is worth the 1 hour drive from home. Good seafood, maybe not the best in the Central Florida, but good. This service was outstanding (sometimes not). They have a beer I like but they always have a menu and beverage selection that our group finds great. We were there later on a week night and not too crowded. While we ate inside this time we all went outside for a last beverage and enjoyed sunset over the water. I've been enjoying Crabby Bill's for over 20 years and can even point out their original Orlando location (but was part of a small chain, now part of a Florida restaurant group.) I'll be back
Coming from NC we hold seafood to the "fresh-off-the-boat" in calabash standard. This is INCREDIBLY close. Excellent food. Our server Anthony was absolutely amazing; so polite, great recommendations, and wonderful service. Will 100% be returning and will ask for Anthony every time. Absolutely wonderful in every way.
Good food. Great service. Reasonable prices. Love the location. We swam at the beautiful sandy beach right next door then had an early dinner. Had haddock and shrimp and both were cooked to perfection. I had it baked and loved it and my hubby had it fried and he loved his too. Clam chowder was delicious too.
Been here a number of times. Great place. Cool environment. Right on the lake. Food is normally pretty good. They have a number of good goto dishes I enjoy there. We usually always order the gator bites and calamari as appetizers, both of which are always good. However, we were there the other day and ordered the (i think it's called) firecracker shrimp, they were kinda tough and not too enjoyable, as if they weren't freshly cooked, which I'm pretty sure was the reason. They came out like 2 minutes after ordering them which leads me to believe they somehow precook them a bit in preparation for a busy day. This was a somewhat busy early afternoon on a Saturday, so I see the logic in doing so, but I wouldn't have ordered them if I knew they'd be that way. Of the many times I've been there, that was the first time i ordered something that just wasn't quite up to par. Either way, a cool place to hang out with some friends and enjoy some good food, drinks and live music. I didn't mention that part, but often (on at least Fridays, Saturdays and i think Sundays) they have live music usually, in the outside dining area. Also, they are dog friendly in the outside dining area and will bring a water bowl out for your pup.
